Happiness :)))))

I am content with so much of a happiness, which no one can take away. Things you were longing for to happen or any long waited email or news you get to hear after days, months and year you just feel wow. Even though you do not know what is next stage going to be like but still long waited emails or new makes you feel happy and light. No one knows what is next or what is going to happen so, it is better not to think much and let things happen by doing things accordingly, in an optimistic way. More you think what is next or how is it going to be you will be more deprived and forget to live the present moment. This does not mean that you don’t need to think about your future or about what is going to be next? You got to think about your future but, not too much that you forget to live the present. Just day dreaming about tomorrow or the coming days does not make things happen in a way you opt to happen. Happiness lies in every single thing you do with your heart and you just need to have the zeal in the things you do to make sure you do in a right way or even if it is in a wrong way. If there is a happiness in every single thing you do then you do not even think that it was a wrong way you did coz happiness covers it everything and makes you do again in a right way without making you feel sad or a bad (:

Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence” Aristole.

~ Albert Einstein

May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.” …”
Mother Teresa

“A life not lived for others is not a life.” is what “Mother Teresa” told us and what people believe today is living life of other’s is not called living a life. Both are true in their own ways but what M.T wanted to say us feel for other people who does not have anything and give back to society who are in need coz they even deserve to be loved and in need of shelter and food.

But innovation comes from people meeting up in the hallways or calling each other at 10:30 at night with a new idea, or because they realized something that shoots holes in how we’ve been thinking about a problem.
Steve Jobs

Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things.
Steve Jobs

A big procrastinator

Oh my god I am a big procrastinator these days ugh that is so awful I hate it see, still I am being the same. This is going on from last couple of days and still I am not able to get rid of this. I am letting my thing-to-do flow back and not on a time which is pretty bad for me. I know being procrastinator just harms me and my time  but still I do not know why I am like this is it me only or other people does has the same kinda habit? I am hoping that the tag of big procrastinator will leave soon from my soul and body. There are so many things I know that is bad for me and I should not do that and follow but, still I follow or do and this is 1 heck-a thing that is there in me currently. I hate this the most currently and would like to abandon this my whole life. Huh then, I would be always on a right time and do all my things at a right time what I have specified for myself. Then, there would not be any time myself realizing that I am a procrastinator girl. I would love to see myself without being a procrastinator.

Oh I am lazy to do my work and the whole day I was just arranging and keeping stuff in proper place and reading the blogs for a while not much but still reading the other thoughts were good. I loved reading it incredible bloggers are there and I will never get tired reading their blogs especially the topic which interests me.

There is nothing in life you are not able to do. Everything you want to do can be done and you just need is passion to achieve what you want? I am glad to have my passion back and do my things back which I had thought that I would not be able to do. It was just stereotype thought which I had that it was tough and I would not be able to accomplish. Yes I can do it and get it and I am back to do. It does not even take a long period of time if you have a thrive and passion to do it is just a matter of a little time of yours to accomplish what you want. Just give your heart and work on it and you will get it no matter how tough it is? What you need now is just a little more time on research and books which you got to go through and you will overcome your left-work without any problems. Passion makes everything possible in this world no matter how tough things are and how behind you lack in-front of others.

Do not lose your passion and optimistic thoughts from yourself this can help you to overcome any situation in your life!

How Should Hotels be Operated in 2020?

Recent studies by both Sabre and Amadeus have underlined the necessity for hotels to rethink their strategic planning.

Both leading reservation systems presented their ideas at the ITB Travel Show in Berlin

Both corporations accept that flat growth can no longer be taken into consideration for future strategy-making – particularly in the travel booking business. Turbulence and constant changing consumer behaviour needs to be taken into account as never before.

“Today, many young people no longer use normal emailing applications. One estimate shows that the average high schoolers texts upwards of 3000 SMSs a month and that the rest of their communication is done on online social networks, such as Facebook”, Paolo Torchio, Vice President for eMarketing services at Sabre Hospitality Solutions told 4Hoteliers.com at the ITB Berlin 2011.

“Technology is changing and we need to accommodate this change. Now we know the kinds of devices that people are using and how they are using them. We know that we need to work much better with SMS texting, when communicating with clients and to make sure that web technology is device agnostic – meaning that apps open up only content which is really considered relevant according to the mobile device being used. In the great scheme, we simply need to provide end users and hotel clients with the right apps and the right upload capabilities such as download vs HTML 5,” Torchio continued.

Such new technologies no longer allow the travel industry to be able to segment their customers into easy to define categories. Customization has been a key word used at the ITB trade fair, when referring to the challenges laying ahead for hotels in their quest for securing market share.

Paolo Torchio emphasized that in order for hotels to properly customize their services, they would first need to know exact details about their customers and couple this with utter flexibility as well as intense knowledge about their own neighborhood – a necessity in offering value added services to their clients.

Allen Appleby, Director Product Marketing at Sabre added that “customization also means using custom made native applications which will need to replace most of the apps that are currently available to end users…  Only tailor made apps will be able to accommodate individual client needs.”

Rohit Talwar, CEO of Fast Future Research, which conducted a study for Amadeus told 4Hoteliers.com that the need for more flexibility and customization has taken the industry by storm and that there is virtually no time to waste in implementing these process changes. He cited the turbulence in several tourist destinations as an indicator at the inflexibility of most hotel markets in dealing with change. “Call it spontaneous changes in a traveller’s plans or political crisis, hotels need to implement new measures in order to react to these changes,” Talwar said.

The hotel industry is being faced with the challenge to understand that individual travel plans and tastes have become so far varied and each taste has become particularly difficult to please. Smartphone use has been the primary source for the need of having more personalized travel planning.
The hotel industry, however, is also being confronted with that fact that guests from traditional source markets are earning less than in previous years and that the average vacation time has been reduced considerably. Simultaneously, however, expectations are increasing. Travellers basically want better value for money.  “Money is too tight to tolerate deficits in service,” Talwar said.

Even wealthy travellers, trying to escape the rat race of their daily lives, are searching for a relaxing, no hassle experience. This group of traveller makes their choice based on word-of-mouth. However, they want to have even a better experience than what their millionaire friends will have had.

“All groups of travellers have an enhanced hotel experience,” Talwar told 4Hoteliers.com

He underlined that hotels are driven by ratings based on customer feedback and that it is no longer enough to simply have a pallet of amenities that are available to all. “Individualization and improved service are essential,” he said.

Jerome Destors Director Hotel IT Amadeus told 4Hoteliers.com that the the traveller no longer only wants to not only choose the seat he will be sitting on the plane. He also wants to be able to choose from a list of amenities that can be made available to him at his hotel. “Personalization is key and Smartphone technology, for example, has been the motor of this revolution,” he said.

“How many people use the TV in their room or the coffee maker?  Hotels could ‘sell’ items which the customer wants rather than cluttering their hotel space with things they perhaps never use,” Talwar said. He told 4Hoteliers that today it is already possible for a hotel guest to choose what kind of motif he wants to hang on his hotel wall. It is already possible for a hotel not to have to invest in TVs for each room and that it is even possible for the hotels to go into partnership with technology providers, such as Samsung, to source 3D TVs, for example, when needed.

Because of the social media boom hotels have had to improve their understanding of the power of these media. The tourism industry has recognized that hotels today have to listen to what is being said to them by their customers. There is consensus on this by all industry leaders attending the ITB travel show.  Stronger use of such technology must be used to catapult the industry towards improved service.

Hotel management must be trained to deal with this development. The hiring process has already begun to reflect this.

There has also been a development in the management concept which many hotels have pursued. Many property owners of the hotels are no longer eager to house established hotels within their properties. There has been an explosion of white label hotels – i.e. of property managers who have started up their own brands and marketing. The technological revolution has given such niche hotels a chance to proliferate themselves without the backing of international names.

The biggest change in the hotel industry today has been hotel’s participation in the revenue sharing of all processes of a traveller’s stay. It is no longer enough for a concierge to make his suggestions and call in reservations. Hotels need to participate in the booking process and earn commissions for each service their guest requires and inquires about through either their portals or at the concierge desk.

“Hoteliers need to continually develop deep insight into the profile of their customers. Technology is moving very fast and it has made personalized travel a thing of the present,” Jerome Destors told 4Hoteliers. He said that projected technologies are continually being installed into hotels and that such thing as interactive keys, which the hotel resident will carry with him, will allow the concierge or receptionist to automatically recognize the guest and his personal travel needs and history. This is all a part of service improvement which is a challenge facing hotels at the local level, Destors implied.

Finally, “hotels need to recognize that times can be completely turbulent. Management can no longer afford to be caught off guard. Plans a, b and c are imperative to have”, Rohit Talwar said. Success in responding quickly to any given situation will be essential for hotels to guarantee positive revenue trends. ”Amazingly people were surprised that the Middle East crisis had driven up oil prices,” Talwar said.

Hotels of future are an ongoing laboratory of these new trends. “Hotels know that their most important task will be to improve customer experience. Technology is the key source to this,” Rohit Talwar said. “Guest-centered marketing is of the essence. At Amadeus, we try to centralized the profile of the traveller and follow their habits – leading to more dynamic packaging of their experience,” Talwar continued.

Talwar underlined that flexibility is key. Although most travellers use portals such as TRIP ADVISOR to search for hot tips, hotels are nevertheless keenly aware that the ratings they receive from customer feedback encourages them to provide excellent service.

Perfect plan for managing your day (For professional)

STEP 1 (5 Minutes) Set Plan for Day. Before turning on your computer, sit down with a blank piece of paper and decide what will make this day highly successful. What can you realistically accomplish that will further your goals and allow you to leave at the end of the day feeling like you’ve been productive and successful? Write those things down.

Now, most importantly, take your calendar and schedule those things into time slots, placing the hardest and most important items at the beginning of the day. And by the beginning of the day I mean, if possible, before even checking your email. If your entire list does not fit into your calendar, re-prioritize your list. There is tremendous power in deciding when and where you are going to do something.

STEP 2 (1 minute every hour) Refocus. Set your watch, phone, or computer to ring every hour. When it rings, take a deep breath, look at your list and ask yourself if you spent your last hour productively. Then look at your calendar and deliberately recommit to how you are going to use the next hour. Manage your day hour by hour. Don’t let the hours manage you.

STEP 3 (5 minutes) Review. Shut off your computer and review your day. What worked? Where did you focus? Where did you get distracted? What did you learn that will help you be more productive tomorrow?
The power of rituals is their predictability. You do the same thing in the same way over and over again. And so the outcome of a ritual is predictable too. If you choose your focus deliberately and wisely and consistently remind yourself of that focus, you will stay focused. It’s simple.
This particular ritual may not help you swim the English Channel while towing a cruise ship with your hands tied together. But it may just help you leave the office feeling productive and successful.
And, at the end of the day, isn’t that a higher priority?

There are three main reasons. First, lack of time and pressure to deliver results make it almost impossible for executives to reflect, consider, and apply their new skills. Second, budget constraints can result in a lack of support and follow-through on the best intentions. Finally, behavioral change is difficult — it’s all too easy for a development plan to slip to the bottom of the to-do list.

With these thoughts in mind, I offer my clients a short and simple management development plan to get them going. After they have mastered these fundamental skills, we can move on to what I call the “higher order” skills that will transition them to leadership roles. There are three rules and five key development areas:

Commit to the plan for six months. Be prepared to check in with your coach or line manager on any changes you notice and any suggestions for tailoring your plan.
Trust that the plan will make your life easier and less complicated in the long run
Be open to experimenting — and have fun learning about yourself and others
Development Areas:

1. Delegation
It is your job to delegate as much as you possibly can: your ultimate goal should be to delegate everything, find a successor and move on to a bigger job. If you are having trouble letting go or trusting others, try to remember how it felt when you were given the first big challenge of your career. Did you relish the challenge? How did you approach it? Did you succeed? What did you learn about the job and yourself? How did it help you to move forward in your career?

Remember that however talented you are, your career is likely to have stalled had your boss not trusted you with a challenging piece of work. He took the risk and delegated: now it’s your turn to do the same. No excuses, just follow the rules.

2. Managing distance
One of the biggest mistakes you can make as a manager is to spend too much time either in your team or away from it. If you are too close, you risk becoming a micro-manager, you can lose perspective on the business, you can become too friendly and lose authority within the team, and your team can become over-dependent on you. Being too distant, on the other hand, can result in a directionless team, potential crises, lack of control, and you being perceived as too remote or political. Also, maintaining social distance is an important discipline for managers that should not be overlooked.

3. Visibility
Visibility and personal profile are important for your career as well as your team, so make sure you are being seen and heard in the right places. If you don’t manage your reputation and profile, someone else will do it for you — and they may not have your best interests at heart. Take time to network, share your successes, and ask to be included on steering committees or cross-functional initiatives to create opportunities to showcase your talents and your team’s achievements.

4. Work-life balance
It’s incredible that this point still needs to be reinforced. Remember that you are a human being, not a machine. You may pride yourself on being able to work long hours, never taking a holiday and putting your company before your own health and well-being (and that of your family). But be very clear that you cannot do this forever. Sooner or later your health will give up and you will no longer be in control. Burnout is a one-way ticket, so be sensible. It’s smart to look after yourself. Work reasonable hours, keep the weekends sacred, leave early one evening a week and build in an exercise schedule. Not only will this help you keep effective, it will make you easier to be around and probably prolong your career.

5. Continuous learning and reflection
Adaptability and being able to flex your style as your company or situation changes are critical. Seeking feedback, identifying your development needs, and monitoring your own progress are all vital if you are to develop as a leader and a person. Lasting behavioural change requires time, patience, dedication, and support, so don’t expect it to happen overnight. One of the best things you can do to support yourself is to give yourself time and space to reflect: try to schedule a meeting with yourself for an hour each week for reflection.
